Plane Jar Welfare Foundation provides anonymity to all who come to us unless it involves potential harm to others or to themselves.

Plane Jar Welfare Foundation takes your privacy seriously and treats all financial information about any transaction that you might have with the foundation as highly sensitive and confidential. In addition, we do not share e-mail addresses or phone numbers of any of our donors or constituents.

If you are coming onto our platform for assistance of any kind, we only release information to the members of our team who are working on your case. If we require outside assistance from Advisors, we do so only after receiving your consent.

We may request personal information online, such as name, address, phone number, email address, and emergency contacts and we may assist you with. This information helps us create a plan that is client centric. We do not release information to anyone outside our team. Any information that gives up your identity is only served on a database that is accessible to your case worker and their supervisor. 

 

We will not release or use this information for any other purpose unless we have your consent. We reserve the right to use the information if we believe that there is a chance of harm in another’s life, a chance of harm in your own or if we are mandated to do so by law. We do not trade or sell your personal information with other organisations. Incase a case worker is known to you or if you maintain a personal or professional relationship with any one from our team, we provide the option of delegating a new caseworker to you. The only persons that will be put on your case as case workers are the Buddies form our Buddy System and/or our core team. No one else has access to your information.

Our volunteers/Interns who are not trained and certified by us do not deal with crisis management.

We do analyse the type of data we collect from our range of services. This is for us to track our own outreach and make our services more accessible to the public.

• We may request personal information online, such as name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card number ONLY for the purposes of accepting donations to Plane Jar Welfare Foundation.

• We will not release or use this information for any other purpose unless we have your consent.

• We do not trade or sell your personal information with other organisations.

• We offer donors the option to be recognised anonymously.

• Donors may request, at any time, to not receive our solicitations.

• Donors may request to not receive certain mailings, such as our newsletter.

• Donor Data may be used for these kinds of purposes:

  • Distributing receipts and thanking donors for donations.

  • Informing donors about upcoming fundraising and other activities of The Plane Jar.

  • Internal analysis, such as research and analytics Record keeping.

  • Reporting to applicable government agencies as required by law.

  • Surveys, metrics, and other analytical purposes.

  • Other purposes related to the fundraising operations.
